Check for "partially hydrogenated vegetable oil" in the ingredient lists of margarines, cakes, cookies, pastries, pot pies, crackers, and frozen foods. Some of the biggest users of partially hydrogenated vegetable oil are such major chain restaurants as McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, KFC, Applebee's, and Red Lobster.
